I must admit, Build Mode has never been my forte. However, TS4 has definitely made it more accessible compared to my TS3 days. Despite that, I tend to rely on the talent of other Simmers and download their beautifully crafted houses from the gallery to ensure my Sims have a stunning place to call home.
Yet, with each house download, comes the need for additional custom content to make everything seamlessly come together. Among the most frequently downloaded CC items are doors.
If you’re an avid builder in TS4 and find the limited options a tad monotonous, we’ve got you covered with our collection of Maxis Match doors. Elevate your gallery creations with these doors, and bring an extra touch of charm and uniqueness to your Sim’s living spaces. Whether you’re designing a cozy cottage or a modern mansion, these doors will undoubtedly add a touch of personality and flair to your builds. So go ahead, let your creativity flourish, and create inviting and beautiful homes for your beloved Sims.
1. No More Dingy Doors! (White Doors & Archest Set) by simplistic

The creation of these custom doors was prompted by the fact that TS4’s supposed “white” doors turned out to be more of a “dingy grey,” as aptly described by simplistic.
Upon comparing the original doors with these new base-game compatible recolors, I must admit, the difference in perspective is quite striking!
2. A-door-able Double Door Style D2SW (Recolor) by Ravasheen

Let me start by saying that among the set of 12 doors by Ravasheen, known as the A-door-able Double Door in the style D2SW, I have selected four favorites to recommend (two double doors and two single doors). However, I highly encourage you to explore the entire set if you have the time!
The D2SW double door boasts a sleek and elegant design, with symmetrical carved rectangles on each door and a subtle wood grain texture. Its simplicity adds to its charm. Furthermore, it offers eight delightful swatches, each paired with either gold or black door handles, depending on which complements the color best.
3. A-door-able Double Door Style D2MC by Ravasheen

Introducing Ravasheen’s A-door-able door set in a double door version, which exudes the same elegant feel as the D2CC. The main distinction lies in its exquisite carved design.
This door features a highly sophisticated symmetrical pattern, showcasing three curved diamonds enclosed within ornate boxes.
Just like the D2SW CC, this one offers an impressive selection of eight color swatches to choose from.
4. A-door-able Single Door Style S1CC (Recolor) by Ravasheen

The color options for this door are simply delightful!
They bring a burst of vibrancy to any modern build, infusing it with a playful and eye-catching charm that perfectly complements contemporary interiors.
Perhaps it’s the matte wood texture or the white border that accentuates the colors, making them truly stand out.
Whatever the reason, they look absolutely stunning!
5. Bae Window & Door Set by ThingsByDean

Introducing a stunning and unique build set by ThingsByDean, featuring big, bold, modern boxed doors paired with matching boxed bay windows.
This set includes nine new windows and two double doors, each adorned with protruding wooden frames. One door boasts a tall and slender design, while the other is shorter and more square, providing versatile options for your builds.
The best part? All items in this set use original meshes, ensuring 100% base-game compatibility. Get ready to elevate your architectural creations with this gorgeous and contemporary set!
6. Love for Barn Doors – Mini CC Kit by SIXAM CC

Calling all modern farm house enthusiasts, your prayers have been answered!
SIXAM CC brings to light the need for repurposed, functional barn doors in The Sims 4: Cottage Living, and the Sims CC community has delivered.
Introducing the comprehensive Mini CC kit featuring nine new doors: five single and four double, all in that charming barn door style you’ve been dreaming of.
Please note that to use the double doors, you’ll need The Sims 4: Island Living, but fear not, as the single doors are fully compatible with the base game.
Get ready to elevate your Cottage Living experience with these delightful barn doors that perfectly blend rustic charm and modern elegance.
7. Get Together Doors/Windows for Short Walls by jaydub

Jaydub really hit the nail on the head with the concept of wall equality, and I couldn’t agree more.
As someone who has an aversion to second or third wall height (medium and tall walls, if you will), I yearn for EA doors and windows that are short and compact.
I mean, who needs those high, looming ceilings anyway? They give me the creeps. That’s why I am immensely grateful to the creator for resizing the unnecessarily tall doors from The Sims 4: Get Together pack. It’s an absolute game-changer and a blessing for those who share my sentiments.
8. The Classic Door by hamburgercakes

Here’s an interesting tidbit about TS4 doors that took me by surprise.
Believe it or not, prior to The Sims 4: Strangerville, there were no normal door knockers on any of the doors in the game, be it base game or expansion packs. And letter slots were only available on one door (from TS4 Get to Work).
I’m not sure what EA’s aversion to classic doors is, but thankfully, hamburgercakes has come to our rescue with this charming and classic creation.
9. Twist on a Classic Door by hamburgercakes

Introducing a delightful twist, we have The Classic Door (by the same creator), but this time adorned with elegant white trim around the edges. Not to mention, a palette of brighter, cheerier, and more pastel color options.
Rest assured, it still maintains its adorable and timeless charm!
10. Basic Wood Panel Door by simly-sparkle

Simly-sparkle brings you the timeless charm of a basic yet reliable wooden door. This beautiful collection offers single doors in seven neutral wood swatches that effortlessly blend with any interior. The best part? It’s a recolor of a base game item, so no extra packs are required for installation. Enjoy the simplicity and elegance of these doors in your Sims’ homes!
11. Queen Anne Arch Open Doors 2×1 by mutske

Now, here’s an innovative and fascinating concept! The Queen Anne Arch Open Doors serves as an archway in the game, functioning like double doors left open visually. Although it lacks the typical door interactions, the idea itself is brilliant, and it adds a unique touch to your Sims’ homes. If you want to explore the “closed” version of this open door archway, you can find it by clicking here. Enjoy experimenting with this creative architectural feature!
12. Queen Anne Door Glass 2×1 by mutske

These doors are part of the same set as the Queen Anne Arch Open Doors, and the family resemblance is evident. They feature the same smooth, matte texture and light-colored border. The main distinction lies in the panel design. Instead of the regular carved rectangle, these doors boast a stylish touch with a tall glass pane in the center, encircled by charming little glass squares. The result is a delightful addition to your Sims’ homes that exudes elegance and modernity.
13. Shut the Front Door by hambuergercakes

This door shares a similar style with the creator’s own The Classic Door CC, featuring a classic and simple paneled design along with a convenient letter slot. While it lacks a door knocker, it emanates a vibe that is more “renovated suburban townhouse” than “old expensive 1800s penthouse.” With fifteen fun colors to choose from, it adds a touch of modernity and charm to any Sim’s home.
14. Solid Craftsmanship Door by hamburgercakes

As per the creator’s notes, this charmingly crafted door brings together the “solid woodwork” from Sims 4: Jungle Adventure and the “base game goodness” of a simple one-tile door. While the specific references may not be clear, the outcome is undoubtedly a reliable and elegant door that exudes a straightforward and timeless appeal.
15. Yogurt Doors & Windows Set by yumiaplace

The set’s name, Yogurt, remains a bit of a mystery as the creator doesn’t provide an explanation. However, one can speculate that it might be inspired by the color palette, particularly the delightful lighter shades. The gentle hues of light pink, mint green, and soft white evoke images of delectable frozen desserts. All in all, it’s a delightful build set to have, and it brings a sweet touch to any creation (pun unintended!).
16. Simple Toilet Stall Door by Menaceman44

With the release of The Sims 4: Discover University, the beloved toilet stall made a triumphant return, much to the relief of every Simmer. These stalls are essential for creating realistic high school and university settings. However, for those who don’t have access to the pack, there’s no need to worry. Menaceman44’s Simple Toilet Stall door offers an excellent and free alternative. It features the same functionality as the original, complete with the adorable tri-colored lock to indicate occupancy. Additionally, it comes in a delightful array of 14 sweet colors to suit any decor.
17. Vibe Door by NynaeveDesign

This door lives up to its name by exuding a distinctive vibe – a classy, modern-minimalist one. Sims who opt for these doors likely have refined tastes and specific preferences. They are the residents of high-rise condominiums that could easily grace the cover of a luxury architecture magazine.
Much like the Vibe door’s color palette, these condominiums strictly adhere to a sophisticated color code, featuring elegant shades of black, white, and gray.
18. Prestine Pastoral Door and Arch by AdonisPluto

Freshly imported from The Sims 3, these brand-new TS4-compatible Prestine Pastoral doors and arches make a truly unique statement.
Technically classified as single doors, they feature a lovely nine-sectioned panel of frosted glass in the center. However, their substantial glass-and-wood border gives them the appearance of an EA double door, adding a touch of elegance to any space. Interestingly, if you remove the door itself (visually speaking), it transforms into a stunning glass arch, adding even more versatility to this beautiful design.
19. The Notjustador Collection by hamburgercakes

The Sims 4: Strangerville certainly brought us some intriguing Build and Buy items, no doubt about that.
Although the “prepping-for-doomsday” style might seem at odds with the “picturesque suburban townhouse” vibe, it surprisingly fits well within the game’s lore.
Thanks to hamburgercakes, we now have a delightful recolor of six doors from Strangerville, offering them in sixteen vibrant and cheerful shades that add a touch of liveliness to any build.
20. [Recolor] Strangerville Windows/Doors – Pitch Black Edition by DreadfulSims

Behold, the Strangerville doors once again! They are undeniably intriguing and deserving of multiple recolors.
DreadfulSims’ latest download introduces a deep, velvety black swatch to seven doors and seven windows from The Sims 4: Strangerville pack.
While the creator humorously claims that “black is the ultimate color,” there’s wisdom in adding more neutral shades to doors. Black complements any style, making it a versatile choice for those struggling with color coordination in their builds. This recolor could very well be a lifesaver in your design endeavors.
21. Wood Door Recolors x21 (Build’n Doors – True Wood) by Blackgryffin

Behold the grand offering from the K-Hippie Team: three captivating styles of single doors, each graced with seven mesmerizing swatches.
A total of 21 new doors that exude simplicity yet possess an undeniable striking quality that leaves one in awe.
Perhaps it’s the impeccable texture quality, especially the velvety matte finish of Volume 3, or maybe it’s the flawless execution of design.
Whatever the secret behind their allure, these doors are destined to elevate any build to excellence.
22. Doors Set by descargassims

Don’t let the name fool you; this set of doors boasts an abundance of style. In fact, it offers a variety of styles, each more captivating than the last.
Unlike typical Build items, this door collection doesn’t rely on color variations; instead, it offers a diverse array of design variations. Each swatch in its palette presents a distinct door style, creating a refreshingly unique approach that works wonders.
You’ll find a total of twelve style options, ranging from chic horizontal panels to intricate tiled patterns.
While the download page may not be as straightforward as some would prefer, fear not! If navigating the creator’s website proves challenging, you can access the doors through this link.
23. Basic Doors Set by descargassims

From the same talented creator, here comes another exquisite custom door.
This door is a perfect blend of simplicity and beauty, and it offers a delightful range of color options instead of style swatches.
With a generous selection of 30 solid colors, you can choose from pastels and muted brights to soft earth tones and neutrals. The variety is truly impressive!
Although the creator’s website navigation might not be the most user-friendly, fear not! If you’re having trouble finding the Basic Doors item, you can access it through this link.
24. Mega (Budget) Doors, One-Tile and Two-Tile by plasticbox

Introducing a fantastic addition to your game – the one- and two-tile versions of EA’s Mega (Budget DeLite) door.
To my surprise, this door’s striking beauty only became evident once I stumbled upon this download.
The subtle yet charming details, such as the seams, paneling, and delicate scuff marks, now capture my attention like never before!
If that’s not enough, you can further enhance its appeal with 16 additional colors from the creator’s recolor available here.
25. Seasons Buildmode Expanded – 40 New Items by Simsational Designs

You won’t believe it, but there are a whopping 40 new items in this incredible download!
It’s like having a whole expansion pack’s worth of new content, and the best part is that it’s all for free. Don’t forget to show your appreciation by leaving a nice comment for the creator.
Now, let’s talk about what this expanded Build Mode set offers. You’ll find several exciting variations of existing doors from The Sims 4: Seasons. From two-tile options to double-door versions of single doors, and even short and medium height variations, these doors can now be used on all wall heights.
The extent of this expansion is truly impressive, and the possibilities for building are now even cooler. If you have TS4 Seasons installed, I wholeheartedly recommend adding this Build Mode expansion to your game for more creative building options!
26. Scania Door – Estate – Single by Kriss

Introducing a door that, as the creator claims, can effortlessly elevate any setting, from a quaint country cottage to an upscale mansion.
While I may not possess the skill to build such grand structures myself (I prefer crafting small, uniquely-shaped modern homes and apartments), I do concur that this door holds the potential to make a statement.
Its simplicity is its charm, with carved squares-in-squares (or perhaps rectangles-in-rectangles) forming an intriguing and visually delightful design.
27. Retro Door Motel Collection by LEOLOLAsims

I have to admit, this door might just be my absolute favorite from the entire set, no exaggeration.
The vibrant colors, the expert Clayified texture, and the unique design set it apart from any other door I’ve come across. With descending glass panels and a large glass pane set to the side, it’s a departure from the classic wooden doors I usually adore.
But that’s precisely what makes it so stunning and captivating. It’s an unexpected gem that adds a touch of excitement and novelty to any build.
28. Kansas Door Glass Top 1×1 by mutske

This extraordinary build item boasts a perfect balance between glass panels and a wooden door, resulting in a sophisticated and sleek design.
It exudes an ultra-contemporary vibe, as if it were destined for a luxurious high-rise condo adorned with elegantly understated decor.
For those creating such modern masterpieces, this door is an absolute must-have in your Mods folder. Its timeless appeal will undoubtedly elevate the overall aesthetic of your build.
29. Set Alanis by Maman Gateau

The Alanis set perfectly blends the essence of Scandinavian and contemporary modern-minimalist styles.
With its clean lines, sharp corners, and simple geometric patterns, this set truly stands out.
Who could have imagined that the fusion of square glass panels and numerous carved rectangles would create such a stunning visual appeal?
Moreover, the illusion of a double-door in-game is executed flawlessly, adding to the set’s overall allure.
30. Railed Sliding Door – Functional Sliding Door by AshenSeaced

AshenSeaced deserves kudos for delivering a door that not only looks good but also functions flawlessly as promised.
Yes, you heard it right; the door slides open, and it’s quite mesmerizing to see in-game, to be honest.
Moreover, the door offers five stunning wood swatch options that add to its overall appeal.
